One of my favorite summer dates is a picnic, preferably in a quiet park or near the lake. Sitting on a picnic blanket enjoying nature and some one-on-one time with my sweetie is the perfect way to spend a warm summer afternoon. When the hunger pains strike make sure you have your favorite picnic snacks on-hand. For me, this means a bit of cheese, fresh strawberries and cold-cut sandwiches.
