Community Days is Coming. Register your organization today!

Fall 2012 Community Days is coming up quick. This year’s event will take place on November 9th and 10th.  Community Days is our bi-annual fundraising event designed to provide schools and nonprofit organizations with a fun and easy way to raise money and increase their visibility in the community. It's a fun, rewarding event for all involved, at no cost to the participating organizations.  Since 1999, we've raised $91 million for organizations just like yours!

:: How it works ::

Participating organizations sell coupon booklets to the public for $5 each, keeping 100% of the proceeds! Booklets and all selling materials are provided free of charge to organizations. Each booklet contains a variety of in-store and online coupons that are valid during our Community Day Two Day Sale on November 9 & 10, 2012.

:: Success Stories ::

SOUPY FOR LOOPY, a registered service mark of Soupy for Loopy Foundation, Inc.
“Since November, 2008, Soupy for Loopy volunteers have participated in Bon-Ton’s Community Day event and have raised over $6,000 toward the fight against childhood cancer.  All of the Westfield, MA store associates are very congenial and are very familiar with some of our volunteers and vice versa.  We are especially thankful to Linda Wagar, the store manager, and Terry Becker, the Community Day team captain, for their gracious and friendly customer service.  Thanks very much to the Bon-Ton stores for making this fundraising event available to us.  It is a win/win/win - win for the customer, win for our organization, and win for Bon-Ton.”

Kiwanis Club of Westfield
“It means a great deal to my Westfield, Mass Kiwanis Committee. I am the chairperson of Youth Services. I oversee four K-Kids Clubs in the elementary schools, two Builders Clubs in the Middle Schools, and two Key Clubs at the high school level. They are all service clubs that raise money for charities or provide school and community service. Bon Ton funds are used to help with their expenses and to provide incentives. To give you an example, North Middle School Builders Club collected items and raised funds for the Westfield Homeless Cat Project. I provided them with a $25 gift card to Big Y for the classroom that brought in the most money and cat items. One of the teachers was a cat lover, and he challenged his students saying he would double the prize if they won. Well, they won and now have $50 to spend on pizza. The incentives increase interest in the projects and substantially increase the money and goods collected for charities. Thank you again.”

Coni, Liggett Lifeway Church
“This was the first time we ever participated in the Community Days booklet sales and we enjoyed working at the store talking with customers and selling the booklets . Our sales turned out to be better than we thought we would do. We earned $350 towards our new Youth and Family Development Center that we want to build onto the back of our church. We want to get the youth off the streets and give them something to do to keep them out of trouble. We want to thank you for having an event where people can earn funds for such things. We hope to be able to be involved again sometime. Thanks again.”
